Samsung TVs: use a network you trust
Samsung TVs connect with a short code rather than the secure QR pairing the other displays use. Use HIITR Display on a Samsung TV only on a private network you control, such as your gym's own Wi-Fi or your home network. Avoid shared, guest or public Wi-Fi, such as hotel, venue or event networks. On a network you don't control, use AirPlay instead; most recent Samsung TVs support it.
Tested on
- Samsung: UE55TU7100 (Tizen 5.5) and UE65RU7100 (Tizen 5.0). Other Samsung TVs from 2019 onwards should work, but haven't all been tested.
- Android TV and Google TV: Chromecast with Google TV (Android 14).
